Seven Seas Group has most recently launched a platform business venture in the Indian Alco-Bev industry called Firewater Inc. As the name aptly suggests, Firewater literally translates to "High Proof Alcohol", a platform that specializes in end-to-end solutions for Alco-Bev companies of all sizes.
With over 30 years in the Indian Alco-Bev business, having 8 bottling plants across Goa, Puducherry, Kerala, Andra Pradesh & West Bengal and 1 primary distillation plant in Andhra Pradesh, Seven Seas Group has one of the largest manufacturing infrastructures in the country today. Due to their long-term partnership with Diageo India, Seven Seas Group has a strong sales force on ground to manage the Diageo franchise business operations and distribution of their own brand portfolio in southern India operating predominantly in the mass, economy & prestige segments. Armed with a fully functional ecosystem, the creation of a first of its kind platform business in Firewater Inc. only seemed like a natural progression and forward integration to their existing businesses.

As part of the RTM, Sales & Distribution service vertical, we have one in-house brand i.e. Pursue Hard Seltzer and 2 newly on-boarded companies, Happenstance Beverages Pvt. Ltd. & Vintage Wines Pvt. Ltd. Firewater Inc. strategically will only deal/operate in the Premium and above segments.

A fourth-generation entrepreneur, Anish’s family has been in the alcohol business for over 40 years. Food & Drink have always been the cornerstones of his family dating back to the supply of canned fruits to the British Indian Army to now operating alco-bev distilleries across South India and Goa. A self-professed ‘curiously minded student’, Anish holds an undergraduate degree in Accounting & Finance from Purdue University and an MBA from Babson College. His affinity for diverse experiences, saw Anish take on a myriad of strategic roles in Banking, Private Equity and Family Business Management in India, England and in the United States. While his work laid the foundation for first hand business experience, it was his love for high quality beverages with an equal focus on what lies beyond the horizon that inspired Firewater Inc.
